May my mind come alive today
To the invisible geography
That invites me to new frontiers,
To break the dead shell of yesterdays,
To risk being disturbed and changed.
May I have the courage today
To live the life that I would love,
To postpone my dream no longer
But do at last what I came here for
And waste my heart on fear no more.
~ John O'Donohue
Hike-o-therapy is simply a way to take my work as a Transitions Coach out-of-doors. Traditionally, coaching and counseling is done in an office, and it can function well in that setting. But I believe that being close to nature enables us to see crucial aspects of our interior landscape that we might otherwise miss. Hike-o-therapy allows me to include the healing and inspiration that nature provides in my work as a transitions coach.
Hike-o-therapy allows us to spend our one-hour session walking the trails, forests, or beaches of Whidbey Island. I also offer half-day hike-o-therapy excursions.

I hope you will join me!
